Sustainable Sites

Maxian + Horst embraces the Sustainable Sites Initiative by producing site designs that enhance our living environments. By using current research and technology sites are designed and developed for long term sustainability. Through the Onondaga County Save The Rain Infrastructure Fund we have designed green infrastructure practices such as rain-gardens, permeable pavements, pavement reduction, bio-swales, storm water filtering and native vegetation systems. At M + H we incorporate sustainable land practices for soils, hydrology and vegetation that function to create or rehabilitate and protect existing ecosystems.
